What it is for
Three reasons people take the helicopter.
The first is time. When the causeway is stopped and the sea is too rough for a small boat, the air is the only thing left that moves. A hop across the bay is minutes.
The second is the arrival. Landing at the start of a day at sea, or leaving an island in the evening, changes the shape of the day.
The third is simply the flight. Miami from two thousand feet, with the reef line and the keys laid out underneath, is the reason most people book the first time.

Who flies you
We do not own a helicopter, and we never will.
Flights are operated by licensed air operators who hold their own certificate, their own aircraft and their own insurance. GlideBlue is the place where you find them, compare them, book them and pay them, with the same account you use for the boats.
We check the operator's certificate, its validity and its insurance before a single seat is published, and we re-check when the papers expire. An operator whose documents lapse disappears from the application until they are back in order. That rule has no exceptions and it costs us bookings, which is how you know it is real.
What we do not do is pretend to be the airline. If a flight is delayed, cancelled or diverted, it is the operator's decision, made for the reasons pilots make them. What we owe you in that moment is a clear message, a fast refund, and a boat if a boat can still do the job.

About flying with us.
How many people fit?
Most of the aircraft you will see take three to six passengers, and the real limit is total weight, not seats. You give the number of passengers when you ask, and the operator tells you what works.
What about luggage?
Small and soft. A cabin bag each is usually fine, a hard suitcase often is not. Say what you are carrying before you book, not at the pad.
What happens if the weather stops the flight?
You are refunded in full, and we will show you the boats that can still do the trip, if any can. A flight cancelled for weather never costs you anything.
Can I book the helicopter and the boat at once?
Yes, from the same request. They stay two separate bookings with two operators, so one can be cancelled without dragging the other down, but you see them together in your trips.
