What professionals ask first.
Do I have to take every request?
No, and there is no acceptance rate, no ranking penalty and no message asking why. A request you ignore simply goes to someone else.
Who sets the price?
You do, on every single request. We never set it, never suggest a maximum, and never discount your work to win a customer.
When am I paid?
After the trip is completed, to your own account, through our payment provider. Your bank details never pass through GlideBlue itself.
Am I an employee?
No. You are an independent professional with your own licence, your own boat and your own insurance. You keep your own customers and you may work with anyone else at the same time.
What happens if I cancel for weather?
Nothing. No penalty, no mark on your account, and the customer is refunded in full. The decision to go out is yours and we never want money to be part of it.
What does the first-ten rate actually mean?
The first ten professionals to sign in a city keep fifteen per cent instead of twenty, for as long as they stay active. It is written on the contract, it is not an introductory period, and it does not expire.
